Student Internships

Internships are highly recommended to help clarify career goals and to give practical experience. Most internships carry two credits per semester and require 6-8 hours per week in the field. The student identifies the location of her internship and works with a faculty advisor to develop a learning plan and to identify an on-site supervisor. During the semester, the faculty member and student confer regularly and the faculty member makes at least two visits to the internship location. Example internship locations include:
