Certificate Programs

The Fashion Department offers certificate programs for academic credit. Certificate programs are open to adult women who already hold a bachelor's degree. Certificate students only take courses in the major in which they earn a certificate.

To earn a certificate, students must complete a minimum of 24 credits in the major of their choice, which is carefully chosen to complement the student's previous experience and to meet their long term objectives.

The Merchandise Management certificate requires college algebra and computer skills as prerequisites.

The Apparel Product Development certificate requires drawing, apparel construction experience, and computer skills are prerequisites.

Contact the Fashion Department faculty for individual attention and to make arrangements for a certificate contract.
