Mount Mary Friends of Fashion
The Friends of Fashion bring the energy and expertise of a community that loves fashion to campus to support and preserve the College's Historic Costume Collection as an educational, scholarly and artistic resource for Mount Mary students and the larger Milwaukee community.
The Collection preserves and exhibits historically significant fashion art, fashion periodicals and over 9,000 garments and accessories ranging from the eighteenth century to recent designers.

Members of the Friends of Fashion receive invitations to signature events, Historic Costume Collection exhibition previews and tours, exclusive membership gifts, a subscription to the Friends of Fashion Newsletter and more.

- October 2012: "College Life -100th Anniversary of Mount Mary College"
Featured Claire Hanan, Assistant Editor of Milwaukee Magazine. Ms. Hanan spoke about her plans for fashion reporting in Milwaukee and gave a brief introduction to the magazine's new "augmented reality" technology that allows a "smart phone" user to view images in 3-dimensions. - May 2012: CREO 2012
Latin for "to make, create, produce," CREO was a fresh, vibrant and forward-thinking collaboration among the fashion, fine art, graphic design and interior design programs. The theme for the CREO 2012 was "Evoke." Each of the art, design and fashion areas interpreted the word "evoke" within their respective areas to reflect the feel and content of their shows. Friends of Fashion were invited to an exclusive luncheon and special seating at the fashion show. - March 2012: Fashion Illustration
Featured Steven Stipleman, fashion illustrator and art educator. Mr. Stipleman worked for Woman's Wear Daily for 25 years before joining the faculty of the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. See the video.
