What is COMMUNITY? It’s not just the place where you live – it’s so much more!  Join us for two weeks of experiencing art and the connection it has in the community.  We will look closely to see

  • where art can be found
  • who the people are working in the arts
  • what kind of art is being designed for the community
  • how the arts build community through creative exchange

The program centers on a process oriented approach which encourages personal creative reflection and exploration in a variety of media and techniques.  A supervised brown bag lunch time is provided with time allowed for working on a special mural project.

New this year -- each grade level will have a specific focus. Each grade level will create an item for a fund raiser at the culminating art show. The proceeds will go to a local organization such as the Humane Society, Empty Bowls, Ronald McDonald House and the Wauwatosa Historical Society, as our way of giving back to the community.
