Rigorous Bachelor’s Degree Curriculum
Mount Mary offers a four-year Bachelor of Arts in Art Therapy degree that prepares for graduate study to become a registered art therapist. The curriculum combines art, psychology and communication courses and provides opportunities for developing compassion and understanding through community-based art activities and field experience.
Art Therapy Activities Outside of Class
As an art therapy student, you can get involved in the Student Art Therapy Association and other student clubs and organizations at Mount Mary.
Scholarships for Art Therapy Majors
In addition to academic scholarships, art therapy majors at Mount Mary may qualify for the Layton Art Scholarship. Incoming freshmen and current students majoring in art education, art therapy, fashion, fine arts, graphic design and interior design can apply each year for scholarships of up to $3,000.
