Commencement Address, Mount Mary College, May 2011
Dr. Schwalbach encourages graduates to create change, recognizing the power of every effort, large and small.

"... don't underestimate the power of small changes. As Mother Teresa of Calcutta said, 'What we are trying to do may be just a drop in the ocean, but the ocean would be less because of that missing drop.'

We must be that one drop. We must create change in the world by working to build community. So ask yourself: How am I that one drop, working to build and serve the community?"
