Post-baccalaureate Student Enrollment Information
Students who already hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and who wish to earn a second bachelor's degree or a post-baccalaureate certificate.

At Mount Mary, you can choose from more than 30 undergraduate majors, including business, dietetics, education, fashion, nursing, occupational therapy, psychology and social work.

For post-baccalaureate certificate programs, you do not need to complete the core curriculum. At the end of your studies you will receive a certificate. See a list of list of certificate offerings.

For second degree programs, you must:

  • earn at least 32 credits at Mount Mary beyond the completion of studies for the first degree
  • satisfy all core requirements
  • maintain a C (2.0 ) GPA (or the minimum GPA required by the program, whichever is higher)
  • fulfill the requirements of the major (see academic program information)

 At the end of your studies in this program, you will earn a second degree.

How to apply for a post-baccalaureate certificate program
To apply, students pursuing a post-baccalaureate certificate must:

  1. Apply online using the Undergraduate Post-baccalaureate Certificate/Second Degree Application.  
  2. Submit all official college transcripts. (High school transcripts are not required.)

How to apply for a second degree program
To apply, students pursuing a second  degree must:

  1. Apply online using the Undergraduate Post-baccalaureate Certificate/Second Degree Application.  
  2. Submit all official college transcripts.
  3. Submit high school transcripts if you seek review for a possible exemption from the world languages core requirement.
