Mount Mary College Public Safety

Mount Mary College is proud of its campus and the low crime rate enjoyed by the campus community. Download Mount Mary's 2012 Security and Fire Safety Reportand see pages 5 and 6 to view our crime statistics for the past three years.

Weapons Policy
Firearms and other dangerous weapons are not permitted on campus, nor is there an authorized storage space for them.

Weapons are not allowed in any college building.

As a part of a larger urban community, the safety and security of our students, both on and off campus, is an ongoing concern. Students play a large role in the success of any security program. Our students are expected to take reasonable precautions against crime in their day-to-day activities.

Mount Mary employs security officers 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to patrol the campus and assist students and staff. These officers have the authority to protect the Mount Mary College community by enforcing campus regulations. Campus security officers are CPR certified and trained in basic first aid.

In the case of an emergency or to report a suspicious person or activity, please call campus security at ext. 345. For non-emergencies or an evening escort to your vehicle, please call the switchboard at ext. 0.
