Accreditation
Holding a long tradition of excellence, Mount Mary College was the first private college in Wisconsin to have a baccalaureate program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. The program must fulfill strict procedures and practices in order to be accredited. Mount Mary’s Social Work program has been accredited since 1974.
In October, 2009 the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) announced that Mount Mary's Social Work Department has been reaccredited through October 2017. No follow up reports or progress reports were requested. (This is unusual for CSWE reaffirmations.)
