Social Work Club –
The Social Work Club is a very active student organization on campus. The club holds food drives each month and has a newsletter for members announcing upcoming events, providing information about field placements, continuing education, state certification, and updates from graduates on their professional work and activities.
Alpha Delta Mu Honor Society –
Eligibility for initiation includes completion of 60 or more credits with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better, completion of at least six credits in required social work courses, and demonstration of commitment to social work ethics and values.
In Fall 2009, three new members were initiated into Alpha Delta Mu, the social work honor society - April Klein, Reina Takamura, and Veronica Sandoval.
