Arequipa, Perú - for language majors

Earn six credits of Spanish Language studying and living immersed in local culture with a host family. Located in a mountain highlands region, with the Andes to the east, Arequipa is noted for its unique colonial architecture and is surrounded by snow-capped volcanoes. It is also famous as the
birthplace of world-famous author Mario Vargas Llosa. Students will take classes with local Peruvian professors at Universidad Católica de Santa Maria, participate in cooking and dancing workshops to learn
more about local cuisine and customs, live with host families, and take part in service opportunities.
Madrid, Spain - for language majors

Nicaragua – for art therapy graduate students

Art therapy graduate students and post-master's practitioners, earn hands-on experience in Managua working cross-culturally with local community development teams who are dedicated to helping people build a more humane, egalitarian, and sustainable future.

Rome, Italy -

Jet to Rome and study in the Eternal
City as part of a short-term, faculty-led study
abroad program. Renowned through the centuries for its beauty and history, Rome has many faces:
capital of a vast empire, cradle of Christianity in the West, nurturer of Renaissance art,
producer of modern fashion, diverse global
center and exemplar of Mediterranean culture
and cuisine. Students will be housed in a centrally located historic, renovated residence within
walking distance of Rome’s primary sites. Earn four credits in Theology or Philosophy.
Scotland and Ireland - for literature or sociology students

Rugged coastline, rolling green hills in the countryside, numerous lakes and vibrant cities compose the landscape of Ireland and Northern Ireland (U.K.). In Ireland, renowned for its saints, writers, freedom fighters and civil rights leaders, students will learn the rich history of the Irish and the historic "Troubles" in Northern Ireland through lectures, personal testimonies, and excursions to historical sites. Earn three core credits in Literature or Sociology.
Costa Rica - earn science or literature credits

Venture to Costa Rica and explore its amazing biodiversity as part of this short-term, faculty-led study abroad program. Discover a country which has not had an army since 1949. Explore a variety of exotic locales, including the Cahuita National Park, the Monte Verde Cloud Forest Reserve, Arenal National Park, and San Jose. Earn three core credits in Science or in Literature.
