What do I need to do to be certified?
- Apply to and be admitted to Mount Mary College through the Admission Office
- Complete a Bachelor’s Degree including:
- Mount Mary’s core curriculum requirements
- Course and other requirements in the teaching major/minor
- Fulfill the Education Department admissions requirement
- Attain satisfactory scores on the Praxis I & II tests designated by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction
- Apply for and successfully complete student teaching
- Submit an acceptable standards-based portfolio of work at each level of the program
