Programs and Events

Leadership programs and events are focused around the three core functions of the Institute.

Inspire
The “Voices of Leadership” Speakers Series/Forum convenes women for a conversation(s) with leaders from all walks of life.
These leaders share their experiences, stories and best practices to inspire participants about their own leadership potential and to provide insights and advice from women around the world.

Educate and Train
New Leadership is an intensive, multi-day residential summer institute held annually on the Mount Mary campus. It brings together up to 25 college students to learn about women's leadership and civic participation from accomplished women leaders. Students from all academic disciplines benefit and build leadership skills that are applicable to their chosen field.

Support
The Institute hosts repositories of articles, research and thought leadership from our faculty on women’s issues and the impact (economic, social) they are making in Wisconsin, our region and the world.

NEW Leadership™ Wisconsin
June 25-28, 2013
The award-winning, nationally recognized, bi-partisan program for emerging women interested in public office and/or leadership roles. This intensive three ½ day residential summer institute takes place on Mount Mary's scenic campus in Milwaukee. Learn more about the program.
