The Women's Leadership Institute
Where Potential Becomes Purpose

The Women's Leadership Institute was established at Mount Mary College in 1998 with a bold vision to help women develop their full potential to be transformational leaders. Through its work with undergraduates, graduates and women in the workplace, we are preparing a cadre of leaders who are able to integrate critical thinking with imagination to co-create ideas, to translate those ideas into strategies, and to implement those strategies to add value to their community and organizations. Our high impact programs are supporting our students’ learning experience and attracting high quality women looking to enhance their personal and professional performance through leadership development.

Our Work
The Women’s Leadership Institute is integral to Mount Mary’s long range academic and strategic vision. Our work is focused on three core objectives:

TO INSPIRE
Convene women from diverse backgrounds to learn from established leaders, share ideas, develop fresh thinking and future oriented perspectives

TO EDUCATE AND TRAIN
Help leaders build new skills, recognize opportunities for value creation and develop competencies for maximizing their leadership potential

TO SUPPORT
Share our thought leadership and relevant research to facilitate ongoing learning for women leaders
