- Mount Mary's Master of Business Administration (MBA) is offered in an accelerated class format designed to accommodate working professionals. Students can choose to either attend class in-person or remotely join the live class online. You can choose to take courses during all terms or just a few terms each year. There are two concentrations in the MBA program.
- Business Administration: The program provides in-depth skills and knowledge in the functional areas of business. Emphasizing leadership, ethics, and communication skills within a global environment, the MBA program flows from and supports the Mount Mary University Mission and the Graduate Education Mission.
- Human Resources: The human resources courses will address key HR areas such as staffing, training and development, compensation, benefits and labor-management relation. Coursework is designed around standards set by SHRM, which will prepare students for the association’s professional certification.
- MBA courses meet eight times for three hours over an 8-week term in a "hyflex" format. You'll take one class, one evening per week for eight weeks.There are five accelerated terms each year beginning in August, October, January, March and June.

Prerequisite Requirements
To be eligible to apply for the MBA program, you must have completed a course in college algebra (or a comparable course approved by the MBA Program Director). You can take MAT 111 at Mount Mary to complete this requirement.
Undergraduate coursework in accounting and statistics are prerequisites for graduate coursework. These two undergraduate courses are not required for admission to the MBA program, but are required prior to taking any MBA courses. These courses can be taken at Mount Mary.
Degree Requirements & Completion Time
Thirty-four graduate credits are required to complete the MBA program. MBA students complete eight core courses (24 credits), three elective courses (9 credits), and an applied capstone project (one credit). MBA in Human Resources students complete six core courses (18 credits), four Human Resources courses (12 credits), BUS 700 (3 credits), and an applied capstone project (one credit).

Transfer Credits
For prior credit to be considered for transferring to Mount Mary, you will need to submit your official transcripts during the admission process. Transcripts submitted after admission will not be considered for transfer or prior credit.
