Accessibility Services
Mount Mary University is committed to providing equal opportunities in higher education to academically qualified students with disabilities. If you have a documented disability, the university offers a range of tools and resources to support you — including assistance with understanding course content, making on-campus housing accessible, and providing accommodations for other campus events and activities.
Legal Compliance
Mount Mary University complies with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990, and the Americans with Disabilities Amendments Act (ADAAA) of 2008, which stipulate that the university will make reasonable accommodations for persons with documented disabilities.
Accommodation Letters
Accommodation Letters are electronically released to students with their permission. Students may choose whether they wish to email a copy of their Accommodation Letter to faculty themselves or deliver a paper copy. Accessibility Services will print out paper copies for students upon request.
How to Get Started
To set up accommodations, call Accessibility Services at (414) 930-3214 or email mmu-access@mtmary.edu to schedule an appointment. Appointments can be completed either virtually or in person, as requested by the student.

Accessibility Services is located in the Student Success Center, Haggerty Library, Room 124. You can also reach the office by fax at (414) 930-3700. The Student Success Center provides free academic counseling, advising, career development, tutoring, and accessibility services all in one place.

Are the appointments in person or virtual?
Appointments can be completed either virtually or in person, as requested by the student. Students and staff will wear masks for the duration of the visit. Students are encouraged to limit meetings to no more than one other guest if in person. Should the student wish to bring more than one guest with them for the meeting, they should let Accessibility Services as soon as possible so a larger room can be reserved.
