Nashella Smith

Nashella SmithAbout
Nashella is an independent graphic designer, illustrator, and avid dreamer based in southeastern Wisconsin. She specializes in promotional layout, logo creation, creating identities, and branding.

At the heart of her work is this idea of the whimsical, the feminine, and the unknown. The freedom to dream and make those dreams into a reality is comforting, uplifting, and therapeutic, because the process of dreaming and creativity in each individual is so beautiful and so unique.

When not working on serious projects, her favorite subjects are vivid landscapes and skyscapes, cute and dreamy sticker sheets, and magical oases. Sometimes she will dabble with figurative work.

Nashella’s favorite things are strawberry cream cake, cats, fairies, space, and the colors black and dark purple.

Statement
There is no limit to creativity. From an early age, I knew I was a dreamer. My mind would whisk me away to far off lands with seas of vivid color and vibrant light. Using strings of words and various digital platforms, I’ve spent tireless hours trying to convey my thoughts into something real and tangible. What I strive for is not something that is necessarily pretty to look at, but a way for me to communicate the complexities of my mind in the best way I know how.
