Natalie Tetzlaff

Natalie TetzlaffAbout
My name is Natalie Tetzlaff, I am a senior at Mount Mary University majoring in Interior Design with minors in Spanish and Business Administration. Interior design was something I identified as an interest early in my college application process.  Soon I realized, I wanted to make it my profession.  To work so hard, over these past four years, and find something I enjoy so much is an accomplishment I am proud of.  I look forward to designing for a long time to come.

Statement
Through the design of a space, interior designers have many ways of impacting the people and the world around them. Designers incorporate universal design to create spaces for anyone, taking into consideration all ages and abilities. They also use sustainable design practices to help contribute to an overall better environment. I, as a designer entering this field, look to both methods in hopes of establishing better relationships between people, spaces, and the environments around them forming a lasting mutual benefit for all.
