Progressive design and leadership roles within VF Corporation, Saks Incorporated, and Kohl's Department Stores prepared Ashley Brooks for her position of Fashion Department Chairperson.
Her approach to design is a balance of creative innovation and business strategy that yields successful product solutions. The satisfaction she gained from recruiting and mentoring student design interns led her to Mount Mary and the preparation of fashion majors for a variety of careers in the dynamic and rapidly evolving global apparel industry.
Ashley's areas of interest and focus include industry expertise, design for product development, CAD and visual communication, merchandise assortment, fashion history and professional development/career preparation.
