Church Names New Pope

Mount Mary rings out welcome to new Pope.

March 13, 2013 -- The bell in Mount Mary College's Notre Dame Hall tower rang out today to mark the announcement that the Roman Catholic Church had named a new Pope. Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio of Buenos Aires will succeed Pope Benedict XVI. He has chosen the name Francis I.
