"Layered" Art Exhibit

Mount Mary College Opens "Layered" Art Exhibit

MILWAUKEE (July 19, 2013) – Mount Mary University will present “Layered,” an art show featuring 60 oil and acrylic paintings by artist Paula Brandel Ryder, July 29 – September 6, 2013 in the Marian Art Gallery. A closing reception will take place from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, September 6. The event is free and open to the public.

Brandel Ryder’s painting, drawing, and printmaking explores themes of landscape, nature, time, and personal and cultural references. She is a frequent exhibitor and full-time art instructor in Minnesota.
Marian Gallery is located on the first floor of Caroline Hall at 2900 N. Menomonee River Parkway and is open Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
