Women's Leadership Institute's "Voices of Leadership" Presentations Available for Viewing on Time Warner Cable On Demand
Women executives examine defining moments in activating personal leadership
Complete footage of conversations with area women leaders who visited Mount Mary University as featured guests of the Studio Series is now available to Time Warner Cable customers on Wisconsin On Demand. Time Warner Cable customers can access the programs on channel 411 under Community.
The Studio Series was created during the 2013-14 academic year to give students, faculty and administrative staff up-close access to women leaders who have excelled in their professions and communities. Each Studio session features a candid, moderated conversation followed by an open Q&A session with the speaker.
The initial Studio session featured Peggy Eskenasi, former Kohl's Senior Executive Vice President who spoke about the impact of teams and mentors on leadership. Veronika Scott, Founder & CEO of The Empowerment Plan, a company that designs coats specifically for the homeless, spoke in the second session about the role empathy plays in innovative product design. Kathryn Jackson, Founder & CEO of Protect Your Pumps, a company that produces clear adhesive protection for women's shoes, discussed the value of women supporting each other in new endeavors in the semester's last session of the series.
Future Studio Series presentations will also be available on Wisconsin On Demand.
