"Books Unbound II" Exhibit
Varied shapes, textures explore concepts of books in unbound form
MILWAUKEE (October 24, 2014) - "Books Unbound II," a new exhibit featuring works by The Binders Guild, will be on display November 9 - 30, 2014 in Mount Mary University's Marian Art Gallery. An artists' reception will take place Friday, November 14 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
The Binders Guild is a group of regional artisans who meet regularly to explore and create unbound art works in a variety of media. The exhibit gives shape, texture, medium and creative edges to the unbound structure and artistically redefines the concept of books in the 21st century.
