Japanese delegates visit campus to discuss foreign exchange

Mount Mary University was pleased to welcome Japanese faculty from Nanzan University to discuss study abroad exchanges.

Mount Mary University was pleased to welcome Dr. Takakazu Yamagishi, Deputy Director of The Center for International Education from Nanzan University and Naoko Kamada, Office of the Center for International Education from Nagoya, Japan to campus this week for lunch with President Eileen Schwalbach and Dave Wegener, Vice President for Admissions.

The Japanese faculty spent the day visiting Mount Mary to review the two university's articulation agreement on study abroad exchanges. They learned about Nanzan's programs for international students and discussed opportunities that might be attractive to Mount Mary students exploring study abroad.

Nanzan University is a Catholic University of 10,000 students located in Nagoya, Japan. It is operated by the Society of the Divine Word.
