High school students and parents invited to education fair
A Wisconsin Education Fair for area high school students, parents and other prospective adult students will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 17 at Mount Mary University.
The Fair, held in the Bloechl Center, will provide an opportunity to obtain information about the programs of approximately 100 different post-secondary schools. Representatives from universities, colleges, technical and vocational colleges, trade schools and the military will be present to talk about a variety of educational opportunities.
No formal presentations will be held. Students and parents will be free to move around the fieldhouse, spending as much time as they wish with the individual representatives.
In addition, financial aid counselors will be present to answer questions on financial assistance that is available to students as they seek education and training beyond high school.
This is an excellent opportunity for students and parents to obtain information from a variety of institutions in a short period of time.
Admission is free. Contact site coordinator Gabriela Barbosa at (414) 930-3410 or barbosga@mtmary.edu for more information.
