Mount Mary continues to lead educational institutions in the Midwest in graduating diverse and low-income students, according to the Best Colleges Report by U.S. News and World Report released today.

#1 SOCIAL MOBILITY: Mount Mary ranks #1 in the Midwest among regional universities in this category, which measures the success rate of graduating Pell students based upon six-year graduation rates. The university has repeatedly earned this distinction.

#1 PELL GRANT GRADUATION RANK: Mount Mary leads in graduation rates among Pell Grant students (undergraduates from low-income households demonstrating exceptional financial need).

#3 BEST VALUE IN WISCONSIN: Mount Mary continues to rank highly in the category of best educational value in the state.

ETHNIC DIVERSITY: Mount Mary is among the top-performing regional institutions in the Midwest for ethnic diversity.

ECONOMIC DIVERSITY: With 67% of all students receiving Pell grants in 2023, Mount Mary is recognized as one of the top performers in the Midwest among regional universities. The report states: "U.S. News believes that Pell figures are the best available gauge of institutions' relative commitment to access for all."
