Design Your Summer at Mount Mary
Create a summer experience for your kids full of fun and educational activities. Mount Mary University hosts several summer camps each year for children in grades K-12.
2014 Theme: Community Connections -- July 7-11 and July 14-18 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a gallery show and performance featuring camp participants on July 19. The camp features week-long art workshops for youth in grades K4-8. Creative Connections takes a process-oriented approach that encourages personal creative reflection and exploration in a variety of media and techniques. Customize your child’s experience by interest and convenience — one or two weeks and for a full-day session, morning session or afternoon session. Students may enroll in up to five different classes in each grade level. A supervised brown bag lunch time is provided.
The 2014 camp will focus on creating art and how the arts build community through
creative exchange. We will look closely at where art can be found, working in the
arts, and designing for the community. Participants will also be working on a special
mural project. Get more details on Creative Connections.
