Prospective students put on the fast track for fall
Enrollment continues through August 18
"I don't want anyone to miss the opportunity to be here."
Dr. Christine Pharr
President, Mount Mary University
Prospective students interested in attending Mount Mary University this fall will experience a streamlined process that puts them on the fast track to enrollment.
In an effort to make college accessible to more Milwaukee women - whether they are new high school graduates or busy working women - new president Dr. Christine Pharr has championed a fast-track enrollment process to quickly assist them through enrollment and financial aid. Dr. Pharr joined Mount Mary on July 1st.
With the start of the semester only a month away, potential students might not realize that college is still possible, she said. But with Mount Mary's highly personalized educational experience and generous financial aid packages, Pharr said, "I don't want anyone to miss the opportunity to be here."
Application fees will be waived for students who have not yet enrolled for the fall semester and applications will fast-track through the enrollment process until August 18.
Mount Mary University offers more than 30 undergraduate programs for women, including the new food science program, nursing and fashion design, and nine graduate programs for women and men in four schools: Arts & Design, Humanities, Social Sciences & Education, Natural & Health Sciences and Business.
Here are some key dates for enrollment:
- Assessments for class placement will be held August 2 or 14.
- Registration day will be held on August 17 for students to select their classes.
- The fall session begins Saturday, August 26.
Admissions counselors are available to answer any questions prospective students have through the fast-track process. Students can apply online.
