Tuition discounts and free housing for summer class students

mmu_summer_ad_w.jpgThis summer, Mount Mary University has halved the cost of tuition, and is offering degree-seeking undergrad students the ability to live in the residence hall for free.

Undergraduate per-credit summer tuition has been reduced almost 50 percent, from $570 to $300 per credit hour.

This new initiative not only makes summer classes more affordable, but it also reduces the time to completion, said Vice President for Academic Affairs Karen Friedlen, Ph.D.

“This is a great opportunity for students to complete their degrees more quickly, utilize affordable on-campus housing and add to the vibrant summer community at Mount Mary,” Friedlen said.

Classes typically range from six to eight weeks and meet more frequently than regular semester courses. A variety of in-person, remote and hybrid classes are offered. Many of these classes are intended to fill core curriculum requirements.

While both graduate and undergraduate classes are offered, the housing incentive applies only to undergraduate students.
