Dead Sea Scrolls - The Theology Department was recently host to over 600 guests at the presentation, "The Dead Sea Scrolls 101: An Evening of Introduction," held on Thursday, February 4. Learn more.

Enrollment Events - Mount Mary's Admission Office is hosting several events in February. Check out our list of events and register online.

Award Presented to Mount Mary - Mount Mary College’s “College in the Community” has been awarded the 2009 Program Innovation Award from ProLiteracy America, the nation’s largest adult literacy organization. The award recognizes new and innovative strategies that are improving the quality of literacy services offered to adult learners.

Marian Art Gallery - This is the last week to view "2 Cameras," a photographic exhibition by Byron Becker and Suzanne Garr. On February 21 a new exhibit opens displaying work by Mount Mary's Art Faculty.

Starving Artists' Show - Applications for the 2010 Starving Artists' Show are now being accepted. If interested in participating in this juried show, please review the letter and registration form. The application deadline is March 1 and selected artists will be notified in April.

Iraqi Student Project - Mount Mary is one of 30 colleges and universities across the U.S. participating in the Iraqi Student Project which provides undergraduate education to talented young people whose lives and educations were disrupted by the war in exchange for a pledge to return and rebuild their war-torn country. On Saturday, February 20, Mount Mary student Basma Wadeea will join four other students living and studying in the Midwest to share the story of their displacement from Iraq, their adjustment to life in the U.S. and their hopes for their country. The event takes place at 2:30 p.m. at the Evanston Public Library, 1703 Orrington, Evanston, Illinois. 

Summer Camps - Mount Mary College will be host to a variety of different camps beginning in June. Camp details including registration information will be made available online in late February.
