The Center for Women's and Children's Rights

Focused on local and global human rights issues, the Center for Women's and Children's Rights will promote research on issues related to the United Nations Convention and the Rights of the Child.

Collaboration with Girls on the Run of Southeastern Wisconsin, a non-profit organization teaching essential life skills to girls in third–fifth grade.  

INITIATIVES DURING THE 2025-2026 ACADEMIC YEAR:
  • Mount Mary University's Campus Ministry hosts discussions centered on the SSND Areas of Focus: Immigration, Human Trafficking, Peace and Nonviolence, and Racial Justice.
  • Pre-baccalaureate Certificate in Peacebuilding – hosted by the Department of Spanish
  • Fashion Academy (Grades 8–12) hosted by Fashion Department
  • Uniquely You host by Fashion hosted by Fashion Department
  • Advancing Equity in STEM: Faculty Training for Multilingual Female Inclusion
    • Series of Workshops
      • Developing skills to serve our multilingual undergraduate students
