Unlock Your Financial Aid – Don’t Forget This Key Step!

As you take the next big step toward your future at Mount Mary University, it’s time to make sure you’re getting all the financial support you deserve. That starts with completing your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)—your gateway to grants, scholarships, work-study opportunities, and more.

Important: When filling out the FAFSA, make sure to include Mount Mary University’s school code: 003869. This ensures we receive your application and can build a personalized financial aid package just for you!

What Happens Next?

Once your FAFSA is submitted and processed, you’ll receive a Financial Aid offer outlining the grants, scholarships, and other aid you’re eligible for. This is one of the most exciting moments—it brings your college dreams closer to reality! You’ll be able to review and accept your full financial aid package through the Future Student Portal on MyMountMary. It’s simple, secure, and all in one place.

New Student Registration is a half-day on-campus event where you'll select classes for your first semester, meet your academic advisor, and engage with other students. Be on the lookout for a personal invitation to register in your email.

Congratulations again on reaching this incredible milestone! Whether you’ve just graduated from high school or recently completed college coursework, you're one step closer to officially starting your journey at Mount Mary University. As part of the final enrollment process, we’ll need to receive your official final transcript—this helps us verify your academic records and finalize your admission file.

What We Need:

  • High school graduates: Please have your high school send us your official final transcript that includes your graduation date.
  • Transfer students: If you’ve completed any college-level coursework, be sure to request an official transcript from every college or university you’ve attended.

How to Send Your Final Transcript:
You can request your school or college to send your transcript to us in one of the following ways:

Mail
Office of Admissions
Mount Mary University
2900 N. Menomonee River Parkway
Milwaukee, WI 53222

Electronic Submission (preferred):

Many schools use platforms like Parchment, Naviance, or National Student Clearinghouse to send transcripts electronically. When sending, search for Mount Mary University as the recipient.
Important: Transcripts must come directly from your school to be considered official.

Need Help?

Don’t worry—we’re here to guide you through it! If you’re unsure how to request your transcript or need help figuring out the process, your Admission Counselor is just a phone call or email away. Submitting your final transcript is an important step to ensure a smooth transition to Mount Mary. The sooner we receive it, the sooner you can move forward with class registration, financial aid, and orientation planning.

Whether you're arriving straight from high school or transferring from another college, Mount Mary University is here to support your transition into our vibrant academic community. New Student Orientation (NSO) is your first step toward success—designed to help you get comfortable on campus, connect with other students, and gain the tools you need to thrive.

First-Time First-Year Students

New Student Orientation (NSO) is a required two-day program for all incoming first-time, first-year students. These full-day sessions take place just before the start of the semester and are thoughtfully designed to help you:
  • Explore campus resources and get to know your way around
  • Meet classmates, faculty, and staff who will support you throughout your journey
  • Learn how to succeed academically and personally at Mount Mary
  • Connect with student clubs, support services, and other opportunities
  • Start building your Mount Mary community from day one
  • By attending NSO, you'll begin your college experience feeling confident and supported. We’ve found that students who participate in orientation are more likely to feel prepared, succeed in their courses, and make lasting friendships.
NSO is mandatory because we know how crucial a strong start is to your success—and we can’t wait to welcome you!

Transfer Students

As a transfer student, you’re not starting from scratch—but transitioning to a new campus still comes with questions. That’s why we offer flexible orientation options just for you!

After you register for classes, you’ll receive details via email about our transfer orientation choices:
  • Attend the full NSO program alongside first-year students if you want a deep dive into life at Mount Mary and the opportunity to meet a wide range of peers
  • Opt for our Transfer-Specific Half-Day Orientation, a streamlined session that covers everything you need to know—like academic expectations, campus resources, and how to make the most of your time here

Whichever path you choose, you’ll get the support and information needed to transition smoothly and confidently into your new Mount Mary experience.

Next Steps:

Make sure to check your email regularly for updates and details about your orientation schedule. We’re excited to welcome you to campus and help you start your journey strong!
