What is a reduced-credit bachelor's degree?
A reduced-credit bachelor's degree is a bachelor's degree program that requires fewer credit hours than the traditional 120-credit model. Our reduced-credit majors are 95 credits, so most students can complete them in just three years.

How do they compare to a traditional bachelor's degree?
Most of the requirements remain the same. Students take the same required courses in their major and the core (general education), regardless of their degree type. Instead of needing to take additional electives or courses in a minor to meet the 120 credit minimum requirement for a traditional bachelor's degree, reduced-credit degree students complete only their major requirements and core requirements.

Who should consider a reduced-credit degree?
Students should consider the reduced-credit degree if they're interested in a three-year college experience that can get them into the workforce sooner. Many college students want a four-year experience, which makes the traditional bachelor's degree a better fit for them.

This program includes online courses as part of the curriculum through our partnership with Rize Education. You’ll learn cutting-edge curriculum with access to nationwide experts in the field. Our hybrid format offers you greater scheduling flexibility as you build resume-ready skills.

Launch Your Career in Cybersecurity or Digital Marketing
Both cybersecurity and digital marketing are among the fastest-growing, highest-paying fields in today’s economy—offering strong job security and exciting career paths.

Cybersecurity
The demand for cybersecurity professionals is skyrocketing, with a zero-percent unemployment rate and thousands of unfilled positions nationwide. According to 2024 data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median annual salary for cybersecurity professionals is $124,900, and earnings can increase significantly with experience and advanced certifications.

Graduates with a cybersecurity major can pursue roles such as security engineer, security consultant, incident responder, security auditor, or security architect. These positions are critical in industries like finance, healthcare, government, technology, and defense where protecting sensitive information and systems from cyber threats is essential.

Digital Marketing
Marketing managers rank among the most highly paid professionals, with a median annual salary of $138,730, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The number of marketing manager roles is projected to grow 6% over the next decade, faster than the average for all occupations.

Graduates of our digital marketing program can work as digital marketing strategists, online marketing managers, social media managers, content marketing managers, or SEO specialists. Digital marketers thrive in e-commerce, retail, advertising, and digital agencies. These industries have a strong online presence and effective digital strategies drive business success.

Social Work
The demand for social workers has never been greater, and is still growing. In fact, some social service agencies are finding it necessary to recruit social workers from outside the area because they cannot meet their social work staffing needs. Social workers are employed in mental health clinics, schools, hospitals and private practices.

According to 2024 data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, social workers earn a median annual salary of $61,330.
