Early Entry into the Graduate Program Undergraduate students have the exciting opportunity to share the learning environment with graduate art therapy students. In the senior year, students who have completed 128 undergraduate credits may apply for early entry into the graduate art therapy program and may begin taking graduate level art therapy courses. Students accepted into the early entry program are guaranteed admission into Mount Mary’s nationally recognized graduate art therapy program. Students must obtain a master’s degree in order to work as a credentialed art therapist or psychotherapist. Mount Mary College offers the only fully accredited art therapy graduate degree in the state of Wisconsin. The master of science degree in art therapy is approved by the American Art Therapy Association and is targeted to both the working professional and the full-time student.
