Why choose Mount Mary College for an art therapy education?

  • Learn from faculty who are practicing clinicians.
  • Enjoy a low student-to-teacher ratio.
  • Enhance your coursework with site visits and professional guest speakers.
  • Benefit from community-based coursework and service learning.
  • Gain hands-on experience through a 150-hour fieldwork placement.

To work as a credentialed art therapist or psychotherapist, you will need to attain a master’s degree. Mount Mary’s Master of Science in Art Therapy is the only fully accredited graduate degree in Wisconsin approved by the America Art Therapy Association.
