Learning Services (Testing and Tutoring)
We know your education is important to you and are here to help with professional tutoring services, testing services, and more. Conveniently located on the 1st floor of Haggerty Library in the Student Success Center, Mount Mary’s Learning Services staff are available to support you in your core courses, help you set and achieve your learning goals, and meet your individual academic needs. Let us help you be your best!
If you are striving to do your best, our professional tutors will work with you to identify your academic needs and provide you with support. Tutors meet with students in one-on-one tutoring sessions in core subject areas, specialize in assisting students in 100/200 level courses, and are also available to discuss general techniques for college success, such as time management and study strategies. Study groups led by our tutors are available for some courses. See our professional tutors and their areas of expertise.
Peer tutors who have successfully completed the same course are available for Fall 2019 for the following classes: Math, Spanish and ASL.
Learning services staff provides testing for student with accessibility accommodations, as well as make-up testing. Make-up testing is provided for students with an excused absence and faculty approval. See Instructions for Scheduling a Make-Up Test in SpaceFinder or Instructions for Scheduling an Accommodated Test in SpaceFinder.
Please contact your admissions counselor for information regarding placement.
